Published profile
A published caregiver profile means a registered caregiver account chose to make that profile visible. It does not, by itself, mean CheaperSitters independently verified every statement in the profile.
Screening complete
“Screening complete” means CheaperSitters has recorded completion of a qualifying screening process. It does not mean “fully vetted,” does not guarantee safety, and does not replace interviews, reference checks, credential verification, or judgment.
Reviews
Public reviews are intended to come from signed-in family accounts after a completed care request associated with that caregiver. CheaperSitters does not knowingly publish invented testimonials or seeded social proof as real customer reviews.
Ratings
Displayed ratings are calculated from visible qualifying reviews. A new profile with no reviews is identified as new rather than shown with a misleading zero-star score.
Credentials
Skills, certifications, licenses, insurance, training, and experience are user-submitted unless a specific status explicitly says CheaperSitters verified the underlying credential.
Status changes
Verification and screening status can change when information expires, is corrected, is disputed, or no longer meets the applicable standard. CheaperSitters may remove or revise a badge when the supporting basis changes.
